Dr. Marc Hurwitz is co-author of the best-seller Leadership is Half the Story (University of Toronto, Rotman-Press) and Followership Education (Jossey-Bass) and co-founder of FliP University – FliPing leadership on its head with innovative blended professional development.

Marc has a PhD in cognitive neuroscience and masters degrees in math, physics, and business. He has many years corporate and entrepreneurial experience in marketing, HR, actuarial and IT including at the executive level. Besides running two successful startups, he teaches leadership, organizational behaviour, entrepreneurship, and consulting at the University of Waterloo. He has also authored a course on the Neuroscience of Work – Work Smarter Not Harder and is a founding member of the Institute for Organizational Neuroscience.
