Have you ever noticed how a great song has more than just a catchy melody and lyrics? A great song has a way of involving the listener in the song -- you become part of the song as the song becomes part of you.

As a professional speaker and storyteller, as well as a songwriter, I know how some of the elements of one craft help me make the other craft stronger. #michelneraymusic

And the most powerful thing I've learned from songwriting is how to invite you, the listener, to be part of the song -- to make it your own.

Even if it's about 'me', it's still about 'you'. Even if I never use the word 'you', it still is about 'you'.

Sometimes when the wind blows,
I feel your whisper in my ear.
Is it the echo in my heart,
Or the starlings that I hear?
Murmurations...

My new single, Murmurations, comes out today...  click one of the streaming links below to have a listen. Then, close your eyes and let me know if you see yourself in it.

Follow me, says the river, follow me!

About the Author Michel Neray

My work in Core Messaging, Category Design and Storytelling for over 30 years has taught me that at the bottom of every meaningful value proposition is a story.

As the founder of momondays, I have listened to and watched countless stories being performed -- it has given me a fundamental grasp of what works, and what doesn’t. As a professional speaker, trainer and consultant, my passion is helping people and organizations lead better, sell more, and change the world.
